About Greenhouse Grove

Greenhouse Grove began as a regional initiative to support resilient growing environments that suit the United Kingdom climate. Over a decade we evolved into a national team that designs, supplies, and installs greenhouse structures for domestic and commercial growers. Our approach combines horticultural science with practical engineering. We focus on materials and systems that reduce energy demand and improve microclimate stability, including efficient glazing, passive ventilation, and integrated shading. We deliver site assessments, bespoke designs, and installation management, working closely with clients to understand crop goals, available utilities, and site constraints. Every project is followed by a practical handover that includes maintenance guidance and optional seasonal checks. We operate from our central office in Cambridge and partner with certified installers across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland to provide timely service and compliance with regional building standards.

Mission and approach

Our mission is to enable efficient, productive growing spaces that respect natural cycles and reduce resource waste. We design greenhouse systems that prioritise thermal performance, natural daylight, and reliable ventilation to create stable environments for plant growth. For each project we perform a rigorous site analysis that covers solar orientation, wind exposure, drainage, and access for installation. From that assessment we develop designs that balance upfront cost with long-term operational savings. We emphasise lifecycle thinking, selecting materials and components that are durable and serviceable. Our team integrates off-the-shelf controllers and sensors for monitoring temperature, humidity, and irrigation, and we provide training so staff or owners can operate systems confidently. We also advise on grant opportunities and regulatory steps where applicable. The result is a greenhouse that supports productive, year-round cultivation while reducing energy consumption and maintenance overheads.

Our team

The Greenhouse Grove team combines horticulturalists, structural engineers, and installation managers who specialise in greenhouse systems. Our horticultural advisors design cultivation zones and recommend irrigation and lighting strategies tailored to specific crops. Engineers focus on structural safety and thermal performance, producing drawings suitable for planning and builds. Installation managers coordinate delivery, safe assembly, and commissioning; they ensure each system is tested and handed over with clear operational documentation. We also maintain a small in-house procurement team that sources glazing, frames, and control equipment from trusted suppliers in the UK and EU to reduce lead times and ensure compliance with regional standards. We invest in continuing education and site visits to stay current with advances in glazing, insulation, and low-energy climate control so our clients receive up-to-date, practical solutions.
